Canopy kayak Kaboat Canoe

My boyfriend and I want to go to Costa Rica, but we are on a tight budget. help?

We are very adventurous people. we have been 2gether for 2 years. I love to travel and what it does, but because of our financial problems last year, the trip was just that we had a cruise with his family last Christmas. we are willing to go for ourselves what we can really have fun. we like being with the locals, eat local food, see nature, buy some souvenirs and art (not commercial material), the surf, kayak and I love to do the canopy and a raft of water. We are out of the hole eventough expensive than last year are still watching our finances carefully. I'll have a week off in December 2011 and would love to start planning a trip to Costa Rica. We live in Puerto Rico, so I guess I should save for the airfare as well. any suggestions on how to keep it simple, but adventurous enough to GOOG "honeymoon-like". aprecciate suggestions actually real people who have had this same trip before! Go to Puerto Viejo, CR and stay in the http://www.rockingjs.com/ its only $ 12 a night and a great city. Also to the south to Panama, Bocas del Toro is even cheaper. Have Fun
