How do you find how much a boat is worth?

I looking to buy a boat sometime in the next few months and I need to find a way to find out the value of a used boat to make sure I'm getting a good value. A coworker of mine is looking to sell his 2000 Mastercraft SportStar with a fuel injected 350 hp engine. It also has the tower with speakers, lights, racks along with ballast bag in the locker. I want to know if he's asking too much or it's a good deal. Thanks
